What will the event be like?

We want to give you a bit of an idea about the kind of event Spark in the Park is going to be so here are a few shorts videos to give you a flavour of what we are trying to achieve and what previous participants have thought of events which were part of the European Year Against Poverty..

The first one features Patricia Bailey and Amanda Button, participants in the event "Into 2010 European Year Against Poverty" reflecting on the day.

And here is Maeve McGoldrick, from one of our partner organisations Community Links, talking about the Need Not Greed campaign at one of our previous events held in Stratford.

You can find out much more about the event these videos were taken at by clicking on this weblink here.

As we move closer to the event, this blog will be examining more of the issues we'll be looking at throughout the day and trying to get a better picture of what life for those experiencing poverty is like, and how effective the work that is done to help them is and also how it can be improved.
